IRMA HALAS 1907 - 2006 On Saturday August 5, 2006 at the Deer Lodge Centre, our mother, gramma, great gramma and friend passed away peacefully while being lovingly watched over by her granddaughters. Irma is survived by her son Jim and daughter-in-law Betty, granddaughters Cindy Hutchinson and Tracy Schipper and great-grandchildren Matthew Genaille, Daniel Maher and Kaylee Schipper. She was pre-deceased by John, her devoted husband of more than 60 years. Irma enjoyed traveling, dancing, reading, cooking and baking. One of her greatest loves was of her home and working in her garden. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 10 at 2:00 p.m. in Thomson In The Park' Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Friends, Assiniboine Park Conservatory, 15 Conservatory Drive, Winnipeg R3P 2N5. Irma and John spent many pleasurable hours at the park.
