ELSIE ORTLIEB Elsie Ortlieb of Beausejour, MB passed away on August 3, 2006 at the age of 74. Elsie was predeceased by her parents Frank and Mary Marynewich, brother John Marynewich (sister in-law Elsie) and sister Jean Palipowski. Elsie was born on August 17, 1931 in Seabright, MB where she grew up on the family farm. In 1950, she moved to Kenora, ON finding employment with the Saint Joseph General Hospital and later with the Kenora Rec. Center, retiring in 1991. Elsie was an avid country/ western music fan and made many trips to Nashville, Tennessee throughout her retirement. In 2000, Elsie returned to live in Beausejour, MB until her passing. Elsie is survived by her son Wayne Ortlieb (Jane), grandchildren Ian and Eric and her daughter Cynthia Ortlieb, all of Kenora, ON and many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Ave. East, Beausejour, MB with Deacon Bill Woodbeck officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church Cemetery.
