Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELSIE MALAZDREWICH Suddenly on Friday, August 4, 2006 at the Concordia Hospital with her family at her side, Elsie Malazdrewich passed away. Elsie was predeceased by her husband Mark, brothers Walter and Mike and great grandson Jordan. She is survived by daughter Gloria Moodrey, Christie (Pearse) Ward; daughter Janice (Bob) Falzarano, Darryl (Kirsten), Kelly (Greg); son Bob (Susan) Malazdrewich, Laura (Ken) Allard, Allan (Sherri) Malazdrewich, great grandchildren Anthony, Aryana, Kaitlyn, Matthew and Brady; Clinton MacDonald; daughter-in-law Shirley Shaski; sisters-in-law Marion and Irene Fotiuk, and several nieces and nephews. Elsie was born in Narol, MB on May 30, 1918 to Tom and Rose Fotiuk. She attended Donald School, married Mark Malazdrewich in 1940, and they made their home in Narol where she lived until her passing. They enjoyed many winters together with friends in Arizona. Elsie worked hard all of her adult life on the family market garden, finally retiring from growing cucumbers and peas just last year when she found it increasingly difficult to operate her rototiller. She was a tireless Baba, insisting on always preparing and hosting traditional Easter and Christmas dinners. She loved playing cards with her friends and family, taking care of her lawn and garden, and attending Narol Seniors every Wednesday. She was an active member of Corpus Christi parish. Funeral Service will be held at Corpus Christi R.C. Church, 5819 Henderson Hwy, on Thursday, August 10 at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Jerry Talarski officiating. Pallbearers are Tom Malazdrewicz, Mike Fotiuk, Laura Allard, Christie Ward, Allan Malazdrewich and Kelly Falzarano, organist is Darryl Falzarano. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Corpus Christi Building Fund. The family would like to extend special thanks to Mom's neighbours Bonnie and Jamie Gulle for their actions and compassion toward our mother. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
