MARY PLUS With sorrow in our hearts we announce the passing of our dear mom, baba, great-grandma and great-great-grandmother on August 6, 2006 at the Heritage Lodge. She will be sadly missed and loving remembered by her daughter Helen (Paul), Stella, son Ivan (Vera), eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Mom was predeceased by her husband John in 1974, her daughter Anne in 1996, two grandsons and a granddaughter. Mom lived life to the fullest, independently until the age of 94. Mom's family was her greatest joy. She was proud of the accomplishments and achievements of the entire family and always looked forward to the family visits. Mom was born at Mossey River, MB on March 22, 1909 and was the Post Mistress of Ward Post Office for 35 years. After Dad's passing Mom made her home in Winnipeg. The family would like to express their sincerest thanks to the staff of Heritage Lodge for their compassionate care. Prayers will be held on Thursday, August 10 at 8:00 p.m. with the funeral service on Friday, August 11 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with a reception to follow. Fr. Ernest Hafichuk officiating. Thanks for the years you gave us, and for the precious times we shared, we only pray when you left us, you knew how much we cared.
