DORA EMMA CARMAN (MARCOUX) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dora, aged 93, on August 8, 2006 at Goodwin Lodge, Teulon, MB. Mom was born on April 23, 1913 in Richer, MB to Maurice and Thérèse Marcoux. Mom is survived by her daughter Ann Marie (Martin) Brocker and Lorraine Snider; sons, Barrie (Jo-Ann) and Maurice (Edith); seven grandchildren, Darryl, Jeff, Dianna, Michelle, Tracy, Sean and Kirsten; eight great-grand-children, Michelle, Allison, Madison, Nicholas, Felicia, Derek, Carter and Tyson. Also left to mourn are her two sisters, Germaine and Marie; brother Rosaire; sisters-in-law, Florette, Kay, Marie-Ange, Margret; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Donald, and son-in-law Derek Snider. Mom was a devoted wife and loving mother. Mom especially enjoyed quilting and gardening. Walking was one of her favourite past times, summer and winter. Mom cheerfully devoted much of her time assisting and running errands for the seniors' residents of both Inwood and Teulon Manors. To pass the time while residing at Goodwin Lodge, Mom spent many, many hours playing Solitaire. The family would like to thank the staff of Goodwin Lodge for their many years of care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Prayers will be held on Thursday, August 10, at 7:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Teulon. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 11, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia's Roman Catholic Church, Inwood. Father Gerald Langevin officiating.
