Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNA KOZMET May 20, 1903 August 8, 2006 It is with great sadness that the family of Anna Kozmet announces her passing, at the age of 103, at the River East Personal Care Home in Winnipeg. Anna was born in Zalaszentmihaly, Hungary. She was predeceased by her mother and father Anna and Joseph; son Frank and daughter-in-law Susan; and eight brothers and sisters. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Rose; grandchildren, Anne, Frank (Janine), Steve and Agnes; great-grandchildren, Shelley, Diane and Steven; and nephew Joe and family. Anna came to Winnipeg from Hungary with her family in 1956. She was a homemaker throughout her long life. She loved to cook and tend to her garden, and was active well into her nineties. She also loved crocheting and knitting, and was known for making beautiful doilies. She was a long-standing member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church. A feisty spirit, she had a kind and generous heart, especially towards her family. Anna moved into the River East Personal Care Home in 2000. The family would like to thank staff members for their care and compassion during Anna's residence and particularly during her recent illness. A funeral service to honour Anna will be held on Friday, August 11 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with interment following at Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anna's honour to an animal shelter of the donor's choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
