ANNE BOYD (TOMIUK) January 29, 1915 - August 9, 2006 On August 9, 2006, Anne passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Concordia Place, aged 91 years. Left to treasure her memory are her sons, Richard (Bev), James (Janice); grandchildren, Susanne, Heather (Brandon), Barbara, Bradley; brother Donald; sisters, Helen and Lovey, many nephews, nieces and friends. Anne was predeceased by parents, John and Polly Tomiuk; husband John; brothers, William, Walter; sisters, Olga and Elsie. Anne loved and spent hours with her family and grandchildren. Times were often spent at the family cottage at Lac du Bonnet. She dearly loved baking and reading. Anne enjoyed a full and active life. She will always be remembered and loved. The family would like to thank Home Care and Concordia Place 2nd staff for the loving care provided. A service will be held on Friday, August 11 at 11:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment was held in Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anne's memory to Concordia Hospital Foundation Inc., 1095 Concordia Ave., Winnipeg MB R2K 3S8, to be applied to Concordia Place, 2nd Floor.
