Milton was 88 years old. Milton was predeceased by his first wife, Elsie, in 1976. He is survived by Doris, his wife of 24 years, his son, Neill (Kris), grandsons Sean (Sheri), David (Heather), and great-granddaughters Halle and Alyssa. Milton is also survived by his step family, Barbara (Bill) Allen, their son David, and their daughter Dana (Scott) Ingram, and great-grandsons Bryce and Brady. Also surviving is his brother Donald (Geraldine), and sisters Lena (Paul) and Elizabeth. Milton Lloyd Nedohin MM served in the Second World War (Holland) with the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders. Except for his duty overseas, Milton spent his working life at Bulman Brothers Printing Company, retiring in 1981. Milton was a member of Harrow United Church, Charleswood Legion #100, Charleswood Curling Club, and Charleswood Slow Pitch League (life member), and the Winfall Seniors (Whiteshell). He was an early member of, and involved in the construction of Charleswood United Church, Roblin Park Community Club, and Charleswood Curling Club. Milton was a person always ready to help, and he spent many hours volunteering as a scout leader, hockey coach, and jam pail curling coach. He also served on the Board of Directors of Star Lake for many years. Milton loved the time he spent at Star Lake. Two of his loves in life were fishing and golfing. Milton and Doris moved to Sterling House Retirement Community in 2005. Here they made many new friends and participated in many activities. The fellowship of many residents around the jigsaw table was especially enjoyable to him. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Sterling House. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 16, at Harrow United Church with Dr. Eleanor Geib officiating. A reception will follow in the lower hall. A private interment will take place in Overstoneville. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, the family requests donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
