DOROTHY ADELINE MONCHAMP After a brave battle with cancer, Dorothy Monchamp, aged 66, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2006 at the Health Sciences Centre. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents Nora and Al Dumas; husband Armand; her sons Michael, William and Armand Jr. and brother Alfred. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Michelle Michaud (Derek) and son Glen Andrews; grandchildren: Darcy (Kristin) Gibbons, great-granddaughter McKenna; Mandy (Fraser) Mason, great-granddaughter Brooklyn; Justin Andrews (Jackie), great-grandchildren Raine and Daylan; Michael Andrews Jr. (Chelsea), great-granddaughters Monique and Jeanne; Monique Michaud; Christina and Kimberly Bernard; sisters, Shirley (Jack) Robichaud, Madeline Barsaloux and Doreen (John) Jeffers, and numerous nieces, nephews and good friends. Dorothy was a strong and giving person. She had a friendly way about her and easily made acquaintances wherever she went. A perfect day for Dorothy could be spent visiting with family and friends, while sharing one of her many excellent meals, which was always a highlight during social gatherings. Dorothy also enjoyed reading, knitting, and playing a good game of cards. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of GD5 at the Health Sciences Centre, for the attentive care given to Dorothy during the past month. Cremation has taken place and Dorothy will be laid to rest at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
