SARAH DELVINA FOREST (SICOTTE) After a brief illness, Sarah left us on August 12, 2006 to join her family in heaven. Sarah was born in St. Pierre, MB on November 13, 1916, and moved to La Fleche, SK and then to Makwa, SK where she met and married George Forest. They had five children and moved many times before settling in Winnipeg in 1956. Sarah was very involved with the Catholic Women's League, being a member since 1955, and remaining active until very recently. Sarah was predeceased by her husband George in 1983; four brothers; four sisters and a grandson. She is survived by her twin sister Clara Stephen, and by her children Albert (Lucille), Bernard (Irene), Therese McDougall, Raymond, and Lucille (John) Swerdelian. She will be sadly missed by her 11 grandchildren Annette (Howard) Lyss, Kathleen Forest, Tricia (Jason) Pacheco, Jason Swerdelian, Jennifer McDougall, John Swerdelian, Brett Forest (Amber), Matthew Swerdelian, Lindsey Forest, Donovan Swerdelian and Christopher Forest as well as her 4 great-grandchildren Wolfgang and Claydmor Lyss, and Kaitlyn and Sydney Pacheco. Prayers will be said on Monday, August 14 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 15 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin Street. Interment to follow in Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Seven Oaks Hospital.
