ERIC BREWSTER August 30, 1915 - August 13, 2006 Peacefully on August 13, 2006 Eric Brewster, aged 90, passed away at Bethania Personal Care Home. Eric will be lovingly remembered by daughter Carole; son-in-law Rama; and grandchildren, Leela, Shantha and Rekha; niece Lynda and children, Jon and Thea; nephew Allan and Maggie; cousin Ellen and family. He was predeceased by his loving wife Rose, dear son Jimmy, brother Don and sister Doris. Dad was born in Winnipeg in 1915 and lived on Sherburn Street for many years. Dad and mom were married for 63 years. He was employed at the Manitoba and Dominion Bridge for over 45 years. He enjoyed carpentry and built his own cottage north of Gimli in 1980 spending many happy summers there. He kept active into his 70s by cross country skiing and hiking. He also enjoyed many camping trips across Canada and the U.S. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to all the Bethania Personal Care Home staff for their very compassionate and loving care. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Bethania Personal Care Home, 1045 Concordia Ave., on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined, if so desired, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba in Eric's memory.
