Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHERESE LAMOUREUX October 12, 1925 - August 14, 2006 Thérése mostly known as Terry, left this earth to go receive her rewards in heaven with God. She leaves to mourn, her partner and friend of 58 years, Oscar; and ten children, Sandra (George), Caroline (Mieczyslaw), Joan, Glenn, Dean (Marilyn), Bob (Kelly), Albert (Darlene), Oscar Jr. (Carmen), Louise (Darryl) and Terry (Tammy). She was predeceased by her son Wade in 1980; great-grandson Vance Desjarlais; her mother Louise Anna Roy; father Alcide Roy; six sisters and four brothers, left are Henri Roy and Marcel Roy from Edson, AB. There are 23 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mom was born in Letellier, MB on October 12, 1925. Terry lost her mother at age 11, and her sister she lived with at age 17. She then lived with Auntie Tony and was introduced to sewing machine operator work. In reality, Mom was a designer and all her life was also creating new fashions, always ahead of the times. She was also known as a great French cook. With having 11 children we never went hungry, she knew how to stretch the budget and the food. We were always the best dressed children. Mom and Dad met and were married within six weeks and had 11 children in 15 years. When most people think of retiring at age 50, Mom went back to work and did quality control checking at Tan Jay. Mom has been sick for a couple of years now, but was never in pain. She went to sleep Monday the 14th of August at 6:35 a.m. We did not have a chance to say goodbye. So with sadness we would like to invite all her family and friends to join us for prayers on Thursday, August 17 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street and Mass of the Resurrection on Friday, August 18 at 10:00 a.m. at St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 355 Andrews off Mountain Avenue. Cremation to follow. We would like to express our gratitude to the many HSC staff who cared for Mom on GD4. For donations, please do so to the charity of your choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
