FRANCES MARY RICARD (nee PFEIL) Peacefully on August 14, 2006 at home, Frances Mary Ricard, aged 73 years, passed away. Frances was predeceased by her parents, Mathias and Mary Pfeil; brothers, Walter and Ted Pfeil; and sister Doreen Thevenot. She will be lovingly remembered by daughters, Rose-Marie Lamoureux (Ken) and Paulette Laurin (Réal); son Paul; sister Lois Wilgosh (Lorne); brother Donald Pfeil (Joyce); as well as six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Frances served as a L.P.N. at St. Boniface Hospital for many years. She was a very kind and loving person, loved by all. She truly loved her children. Frances will always be remembered for her Happy Sunday . Prayers will be said 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 17, at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. 1 E. at Navin Road. Funeral mass will be celebrated 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 18 at Holy Cross Parish, 252 Dubuc Street, the Rev. Fr. Fred Olds, celebrant. The service is to be followed by cremation and will terminate in the church. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date in Green Acres Cemetery. Frances's family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Susser and Home Care for all their wonderful care and compassion.
