RUTH INGRID ZINK (HENNIG) May 13, 1937 - August 16, 2006 On August 16, 2006 after her lengthy battle with cancer, Jesus called our loving wife, mother and grandmother to be with her heavenly Father in her heavenly home. She was predeceased by her parents, Karl and Florentine Hennig and a brother Leo, brother-in-law Harry Jaeger and her first husband Norman Zink and a daughter Ingrid Zink. She will be deeply missed, mourned and remembered by her husband of 42 years, Lawrence, and her three children, John Zink, Joelle Zink, and James Zink (Juanita). Ruth will be missed by her five grandchildren. John's children are John Jr. and Justin. James' children are Chantelle, Dawson and Jackson. She is also deeply mourned by a sister Alice and her children, and her brother Arthur and his wife Rose and their children. She is survived by her siblings, Alice Jaeger and Arthur Hennig and his wife Rose; an uncle William Hennig, aunt Irma (Hennig) Kuehn, an aunt Irna Hennig and cousins in Germany and Canada and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 19 at 1:00 p.m. at Whiteshell Baptist Church, Seven Sisters, MB. Reception will follow the service. Interment will be held at Whiteshell Baptist Church Cemetery. Special thanks to all the staff at Pinawa Hospital for their loving and compassionate care.
