Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryESMERELDA CLARKE (Esmie Clarke) Peacefully on August 17, 2006, a great woman went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ. Ms. Esmerelda Clarke, even though she had no children of her own, was a mother and a counselor to so many and will be greatly missed by all those that embraced her as a mother, a friend and fellow believer. To those that she touched, she was favourably known as Auntie Esmie. Esmerelda Clarke was born on December 22, 1922 in Jamaica and immigrated to Canada in the 1970s where she helped care for so many needy families. She was an inspiration to all that new her. Her sense of humour, sense of purpose and faith was contagious. She was a faithful member of Glory Peace Church from the very beginning. A woman of the word, a woman of prayer, compassionate and loving, she touched so many lives and has made so many people greater than they thought they would ever be. She will be greatly missed by all those who love her. We want to express our thanks and gratitude to the staff at the Luther Home who cared for her for the last 10+ years. Funeral services for Esmerelda Clarke will be at Glory Peace Church International, 1296 Main St. on Tuesday, August 22 at 11:00 a.m. Viewing will begin for the public at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Glory Peace Church International. Arrangements entrusted to Rock Fontaine Funeral Director 1-866-499-2601 or 204-223-2576.
