WILLIAM (BILL) OKOLITA Suddenly on Friday, August 18, 2006, William Okolita passed away at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 86 years. William will be lovingly remembered by his wife Ellen; son Bill Jr. (Sandra), James (Susan); three grandchildren, Kristine, Michael and Kelly and brother Mike; as well as many nieces and nephews. William was predeceased by his two brothers, John and Alex and his two sisters, Bertha and Millie. William enjoyed fishing camping and snowmobiling. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 22 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Interment will take place in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre. The family wished to thank Dr. Smith and the Victoria General Hospital for their care and kindness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William's memory to a charity of one's choice.
