Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAWRENCE JOHN JABLONSKI Peacefully, at the Selkirk General Hospital on Thursday, August 17, 2006 after a lengthy battle with cancer, Lawrence passed away surrounded by his loving family at the age of 57 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Gerri (nee: Freeman); children, Terri and Wendy; mother Jean; sister Louise (Bill); also children, Daniel, Dianna and Laurie; numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was predeceased by his father John on March 6, 1990. Lawrence was born on March 27, 1949 and lived in East Selkirk in his early youth. He married Gerri in 1975 and they started their family residing in Stonewall, moving to Selkirk in 1997. He was a handyman, helping anyone in need, a taxidriver for his girls , but mostly Lawrence was a loving husband, father and friend. He was employed by the Department of Highways until illness forced him to take sick leave. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Monday, August 21 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Clement's Anglican Church with Rev. Ken Pawluk officiating. Interment to follow in the churchyard cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined, donations in Lawrence's memory can be made to the St. Clement's memorial fund Thanks to the staff at the Selkirk General Hospital and the Dr's at CancerCare clinic.
