MONA ELDORA HATTON (nee CURRIE) December 18, 1920 August 18, 2006 It is with sadness that we announce the death of Mona Hatton after a brief illness at the age 85 years. Mona was a loving and well loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a long time employee of the Canadian Wheat Board and enjoyed travelling, cards bingo and knitting for family and friends. Left to mourn Mona's passing are her sons, Terry, Gordon (Glenda), Bruce (Margaret), Greg (Shirley) and daughter Carla; brothers, Sandy (Helen) and Roy (Kay); sister-in-law, Shirley; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends. She was predeceased by brothers Earl, Laird, Glen and Bruce; sisters, Ione and Anna Jean as well as a grandson, Scottie. Mona will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, August 23 at the Parkside Plaza, 1630 Henderson Highway, between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Interment will be on Friday, August 25 at the family plot in Penzance, SK. In lieu of flowers, it was Mona's wish that contributions be made to the SIDS foundation in memory of her grandson, Scottie.
