TRANQUILINO GARMA Peacefully, on Sunday, August 20, 2006, Tranquilino Garma passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 90 years. Tatang Lino will be lovingly remembered by his spouse Macaria Garma; sons and daughter, Ben and Lita Gavino (California, United States), Carlos and Martha (Philippines), Jess and Miling (Canada), Elma (Canada), Gil and Josie (Canada), Benny and Susan (Canada), Lily (Canada) and Zenaida (Switzerland); grandchildren, Melinda, Marites, Isagani, Judel, Millicent (Abel), Vanessa, Blanche, Brently, Benito, Maxima; great-grandchildren, Muriel, Makaiyla and Hailey; and greatly remembered by his sister Criselda in the Philippines and brother Ricardo in Hawaii, United States. Tatang Lino was born on July 6, 1916 in Camiling, Tarlac, Philippines. There will be a viewing held on Thursday, August 24 and Friday, August 25 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 26 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint) with Pastor Bruce Logan officiating.
