Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEONARD RAYMOND SPLETT (KLEM) It is with sadness, we announce the passing of Len (Klem) on July 29, 2006. Len was born in Beausejour, MB on September 27, 1935. He grew up and lived there in his younger years. He held many jobs in his life, mainly in construction. He spent a number of years in the north, working on the Dew Line as an ironworker. He also worked various construction jobs in different places in Manitoba and Ontario. Later he lived in Winnipeg for some years moving to British Columbia in 1993. There he spent his last years. Len had many interests in life, stamp collecting, reading, photography and leather work. His last years were spent making small wooden toys for shoe box projects for various groups to be sent to third-world countries. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service was held on August 4 in Harrison Mills, BC. A graveside service and interment of ashes will be held at the Beausejour Town Cemetery on Saturday, August 26 at 3:30 p.m. If friends and family desire, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 505 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1L8.
