Hello I am seeking relatives of Dolly (Jacobson) Cook who used to live at Middlechurch until she passed. My grandfather Bengt Öberg was Dolly Cooks cousin. When I was a child in the 1980's Dolly and Bengt used to send postcards to eachother. Bengt didn't understand everything she wrote, since he only spoke Swedish. I remember that she wrote she was in a wheelchair. Bengt passed away in 1996 and we didn't talk about Dolly before he passed away. He only mentioned when he got a postcard. I don't know where the postcards are now. I often wondered about Dolly and if she had children, grandchildren etc. Where in Usa she lived. I thought her mother emigrated to Usa. Almost 10 years ago while I was searching for something in my mom's dresser I found an empty envelope with Dolly's name and address that she had written. I looked for her name in my mom's family tree book. I found her, her mother's name and a man's name (Lennart). But no other information. I then searched for public information about Dolly on Google. I even searched for the address. I didn't have much luck. Until a year ago. When a friend of mine helped search for her in Canada. He found a document with her children and grandchildren's name. I've tried to search for them on the internet but I haven't found them. Since I don't know in what city I should search for them. I would like to get in touch. Hopefully one of her children or grandchildren sees my post. Please contact me. Sincerely Helen Öberg Sweden - Posted by: Sara Helen Öberg (Second Cousin) on: Nov 27, 2022
