Charles David Teetaert passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. He was born October 28, 1944 in Deloraine, MB to Desire and Selvie Teetaert. Chuck is survived by his wife Ethel; son Chris (Shari), grandchildren Zachary, Bronson, Keegan, Spencer, Arabella; daughter Kimberlee (Kirk) Dreher, grandchildren Mitchel, Hannah and Cassidy; mother Selvie Missinne; parents-in-law Bill and Mayme Turner; brothers Maurice, Larry (Elaine), Marshall (Darlene); sister Adrienne (Murray) Teetaert; brother-in-law Bill (Shirl) Turner, half brothers and sisters Emile (Jeanne), Harry (Hilda), Martha Cappelle, Alice Vanhantsaeme and their families as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by father Desire; step-father Silver Missinne; half brother Charles; half brothers-in-law Gerard Cappelle and Roger Vanhantsaeme; niece Laura Chaban. After leaving home, his career in accounting started in Brandon, then on to Swan River, Kenton and then the R.M. of Hanover in 1972. He loved his work and loved the people. He left his work at Hanover in 1996 due to health reasons. He was involved with Kinsman, Agape House, church and the Manitoba Municipal Administrators Association. Viewing with small service will take place Thursday, August 24 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Funeral is on Friday, August 25 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 465 Henry St., Steinbach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Manitoba Brain Injury Association, 204-825 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1M5. Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
