CLIFFORD ALLAN BEATON Peacefully after a short battle with cancer, on Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at his residence in Matlock, Clifford Beaton, aged 63 years. Cliff was predeceased by his mother, father and sister. He is survived by his wife Shannon; son Rob (Joy) and stepchildren, Jay and Janice. He is also survived by his sister Trudy (Dunc); brother Brent and other family members. Cliff was born in British Columbia and moved to Manitoba in 1984. In 1985 he met his loving wife Shannon. They married in 1988 in Winnipeg and enjoyed many years camping and travelling. In 2002, in preparation for future retirement, Cliff and Shannon fulfilled their dream by moving to Matlock. Cliff's hobbies included woodworking and playing cards. He was also very talented when it came to music. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will be held on Friday, August 25 at 2:00 p.m. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
