Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHOMAS EDWARD (TED) WARREN With dignity and grace, immediate family by his side on Friday, August 18, 2006 at Lakeshore General Hospital in Québec, Ted Warren passed away at the age of 91. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Sharon and husband Norman; son Myles and wife Judith; two grandchildren, Mark and John; six great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Matthew, Madeline, Emily, Dylan and Jacob; three sisters, Ann, Doris and Joyce; one brother Bruce and many nieces and nephews. Ted was predeceased by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Betty; three sisters, Vera, Jessie and Pat and two brothers, Les and Charlie. Throughout Ted's active, healthy life he was blessed with a wonderful marriage, raised a loving family, had a successful career and saw his daughter and son fulfill their dreams. Born in Rabbit Lake, SK, a proud veteran of the Second World War, he lived most of his life in Winnipeg. An avid golfer and member of the Rossmere Golf and Country Club in Winnipeg since 1958, Ted treasured the circle of friends he met there over the years. A loyal and enthusiastic employee of Brooke Bond Foods for over forty years he experienced a wide variety of adventures on his weekly travels throughout the prairies. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Ted's life will be held on Friday, September 8 at 1:00 p.m. at Rossmere Country Club, 925 Watt St., Winnipeg, R2K 2T4 with his friend of many years Deacon Lawrence Wakuruk officiating. A private interment will take place for immediate family at a different date. Sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Lakeshore General Hospital for their compassion and care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ted's memory to The Lakeshore Hospital Foundation, 160 Stillview, Suite 5209, Pointe-Claire, QC, H9R 2Y2.
