MARGARET MAY PROCTOR (nee BRYANT) 1924 2006 Margaret Proctor passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on August 22 at the age of 81. Margaret was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Margaret was predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Proctor 1967. She is survived by her three children, Brian (Cindy) of Winnipeg, Bruce (Holly) of Calgary and Sharon of Winnipeg. Also left to mourn are her six grandchildren, Lindey, William, Kurtis, Kyle, Jacqulyn and Jordan; her sister Enid Persona of Winnipeg; brother-in-law Alexander (Jean) Proctor of Vancouver; sister-in-law Elma of Yorkton; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Mabel and Gilbert Bryant; in addition to her sister Phyllis Webster. Margaret was born Margaret Bryant in Winnipeg on October 10, 1924. She worked until her retirement at Robinson Little. Margaret was a hard working, generous and giving person who always had time for friends and family. She loved her bingo, casino and family outings. You are invited to celebrate the life of Margaret in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. on Monday, August 28 at 1:00 p.m. with cremation to follow. A viewing will be available for relatives and friends at 12:00 p.m. prior to the service. As you were you will always be, Treasured forever in our memory. Until we meet again. The family would like to thank the wonderful care and compassion she received while at Jocelyn House palliative care program especially Darlene, Michelle, Sarah, Lynn, Mitch, Wayne, Catherine and Brenda in addition to the great staff of the St. Boniface Hospital.
