GODFRIDS (FRED) ZELTINS It is with deep sadness and loving memories we announce the passing of our father/grandfather. At age 82, Fred passed away peacefully on August 25, 2006 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Judy; and his children, Karen, Sandra (Peter), Robert (Kelly), Victor (Debbie); and his six grandchildren, Darryl, Nicole, Kalie, Brenna, Addison, and Colby. Fred worked primarily for Manitoba Hydro until retirement. He spent most of his life living in Winnipeg, Gillam, and Tumbler Ridge, BC. He had a great passion for sports, especially hockey, amateur radio club and his family. He will always be remembered for his feisty personality and spirit. A special thank-you goes out to his doctors and the staff at the St.Boniface Hospital, Palliative Care Unit. There will be a gathering on Wednesday, August 30 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the CancerCare Manitoba.
