WILLIAM (BILL) LITWIN Sadly on August 28, 2006, the Lord called our loving husband, father, brother and grandfather to his heavenly home. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Gertrude of 51 years; children Karen, David and Wendy; brother Matt; sister Mary; grandchildren Kirk, Davie, Kyle, Brittany, Sean, Braeton and Shelby; and sons-in-law Joe and Ron. He was predeceased by his parents Eva and John Litwin; brother Mike; and son John. Bill was born on the farm in Parkerview, SK, where he lived for 17 years. He later moved to the Red Lake District to become a miner. He then met the love of his life Gertrude and they lived on McKenzie Island, where they built their first home. He chose to move around in the mining industry, moving to Lac du Bonnet, where he loved his home. Bill was always a free spirit and had a happy and entertaining life. He lived life to the fullest. A prayer service will be held on Thursday, August 31 at 7:30 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, Beausejour. Funeral liturgy will follow the next day on Friday, September 1 at 10:30 a.m. at the Notre Dame du Lac Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Mirek Szynal presiding. Interment will follow at the Riverland Cemetery. We love you, We miss you, and you'll forever be in our hearts.
