Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHILDE HOLUBOWICH (nee MOSBERGER) April 20, 1929 - August 28, 2006 After a lengthy illness, Hilde passed away on Monday, August 28, 2006 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Hilde was born in Hesseldorf, Czechoslovakia came to Canada in 1954, and married Walter Holubowich in 1955. She was employed by Merchant's Consolidated, retiring in 1986. Hilde loved spending time at the cottage in Grand Marais and she was well known for her beautiful yard full of trees, flowers and birdhouses. She loved animals, especially her dog Carlos whom she left behind. Hilde leaves to mourn in Germany, two brothers, Herbert and Andreas Mosberger and their families; brother-in-law Mike Holubowich and family in Ukraine; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Hilde was predeceased by her husband Walter in 1972 and her good friend Mike Jakymec in 2003. A special thank you is extended to Glen and Mary Sveinson for their love and assistance. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 31 at St. Andrew's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 160 Euclid Ave. with Fr. L. Ratushniak, C.Ss.R. officiating.
