HENRY LECUYER November 15, 1929 - August 31, 2006 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad and Pépère, Henry Lecuyer at the Riverview Health Centre on Thursday, August 31, 2006 at the age of 76 years. Henry was predeceased by his wife, Simone in 1991; his parents, Joseph and Renée Lecuyer; his brothers, Albert, Aimé, Ludovic and Gerard and his sister Eva. He will be sadly missed by his eight children, Diane Stevenson, Denis Lecuyer and Lynne Lecuyer (Ron), all of Winnipeg, Marilyn Parisian (Guy), Harold Lecuyer (Laura), Cheryl McDonald (Trevor), Sandra Lecuyer (Scott) and Roy Lecuyer (Norma-Lei) of St. Eustache, MB; grandchildren, Chad, Joanne, Chantel, Chris, Mathew, Amber, Randi, Brittany, Meagan, Brent, Brennan, Renée, Tyler and Tara; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Noah; as well as his sisters, Olive Caldwell and Irene Ducharme of Winnipeg and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Henry was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces from 1952 to 1954. He worked in the construction industry for most of his life. His passion was pitching horseshoes and he won the Manitoba Championship several times. He always kept busy fixing things for his children or hauling wood. He loved the outdoors. Henry's family would like to offer special thanks to the staff at Riverview Health Centre and Charleswood Care Centre for the care and patience they provided for Dad. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the St. Eustache Roman Catholic Church in St. Eustache, MB on Tuesday, September 5 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place in the St. Eustache Parish Cemetery following the mass. Pallbearers will be Wally and Darrell Lecuyer, Roger and Dale McKay and Aldon and Allan Pagée. Dad, thank you for everything you've done for us.
