Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNIE CASPICK 1909 - 2006 Annie serenely entered into rest on August 30, 2006, surrounded by family. She was predeceased by her husband Frank and her son Norman. Annie will be greatly missed by her daughter Frances, her 11 grandchildren and their spouses, as well as her many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Annie was born September 3, 1909, in Glenella, MB, to Michael and Pearl Milan, who had emigrated from the Ukraine. She was the second youngest of eight children and the last surviving member of her siblings. In 1935, Annie married Frank and they lived and worked in many places in both Manitoba and Ontario. Annie worked in the food service and housekeeping industries for most of her life. Annie was very sociable and always saw the positive in any situation. She loved gardening, sewing, baking (known for her apple pie and chocolate cake!), as well as visiting and playing games with family and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff at Oakview Place and the Grace General Hospital for their concern and care. Memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 6, at 3:00 p.m., at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME AND RECEPTION CENTRE 885-9715
