Left to cherish Sheila's memory are her loving sons; Kurtis (wife Shelley) and grandson Logan of Winnipeg; Kevin (wife Kerry) and grandchildren, Alora and Troy of Comox, BC; Blaine (wife Denise) and grandchildren, Sean, Michaela and Shelby of Winnipeg. She also shared a very close relationship with her extended family, Lloyd and wife Norma, Marion and husband Ray, Ken and wife Pam; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. Sheila was predeceased by both her parents; her husband Len on December 29, 2002; and her sister Yvonne on October 12, 1987. Sheila was born on February 1, 1940 in Killarney, MB. She and Len married in 1960 and began their lives together in Winnipeg where their beloved sons were born. Sheila worked at Standard Aero for many years, then until her illness, the WRHA as a health care aid. Sheila had a gift of music and at a young age learned to play the piano and organ. Even though she hadn't tickled the ivories' for some time, you could bet the minute she did, beautiful music would flow under the direction of her slender hands. Mum always had a smile and warm greeting for everyone she met. On warm summer days and eves, Sheila enjoyed lounging on her patio at the condo chatting with her friendly neighbourswith a glass of wine never too far from reachwhile visiting with family and watching over her grandchildren as they swam in the outdoor pool.
