SYLVIA MACDONELL Passed away peacefully on September 4, 2006 at Riverview Health Centre at age 77. Sylvia was born August 14, 1929 in Glenella, MB. She is survived by her sisters, Ann Blanchard, Pearl Paulson (Montreal), Milly Gilmore (Chicago), Sally Hayes and Evelyn Kuzyk and brothers, John, Alex, Peter, Tom and Jerry Kuzyk. Sylvia was predeceased by her husband John; father Steve and mother Polly Kuzyk; brother Henry and sisters, Kay, Mary, Jean and Olie. Sylvia lived much of her life in Toronto and Arnprior, ON. At the time of her passing she was associated with the Balmoral Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Winnipeg. Sylvia will be long remembered for her generosity and kindness. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Medical Oncology Team, Dr. Brandes, Dr. Czaykowski and nurses at the Cancer Clinic, Health Sciences Centre for all their care. As well, many thanks to all the nursing staff in the Palliative Care Unit, 3-East Wing, at Riverview Health Centre. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 9 at Wolever Park Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses - 1060 Wolever Ave. Raymond Hayes will officiate.
