LISA MARIE COTE (née TOUGAS) Our hearts ache at the loss of our beloved Lisa, on Friday, September 1, 2006, at the young age of 38 years. Lisa remained strong and determined throughout. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend André Côté, along with his family of Québec; her parents, Eveline Tougas (Mike) and Réal Tougas (Raymonde); sister Gena Harris (Mike); brother Joël Tougas; nephew Christopher; niece Hanna; grandfather Edmond Tougas; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as many caring and loving friends. Lisa will be welcomed with love by several family members as she reaches her new destination. A beautiful and amazing person, Lisa was blessed with many talents. She was extremely artistic and meticulous in all her endeavors. Whether it was breeding fish, decorating her house, or simply wrapping a present, she always wowed everyone. Lisa loved animals, especially her two dogs, Tripod and Tango. Her biggest passion was singing. Lisa's powerful and unique voice touched our lives as well as the lives of many others. Putting her illness aside, she surprised us all by leaving us an ever lasting gift, singing and recording three songs to be played for her wedding on June 24, 2006. At Lisa's request, we welcome you to come and celebrate Lisa's life on Friday, September 8 at 11:00 a.m. in the Canad Inn Club Regent Hotel, 3rd Floor Banquet Room, 1415 Regent Avenue West. Our family wishes to express our heartfelt gratitude for the love and support given from family and friends, as well as from her co-workers at Manitoba Hydro, where she worked for 14 years. Many more thanks to the staff in the Palliative Care Ward at the St. Boniface General Hospital for their care and compassion. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, P.O. Box 2245, Winnipeg, MB. R3C 4A6. Thank you PS class of '86 for the donation already made in Lisa's name. Lisa, we love you, we thank you until we meet again. You will live in our hearts forever. Lisa's arrangements have been entrusted to the Family Owned Funeral Chapel of: WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 4665
