SOLANGE MAURICE (nee DIONNE) Peacefully on September 5, 2006, Solange passed away at the age of 89 years. She was born in Dunrea, MB on February 11, 1917, daughter of Stanislas and Amanda Dionne. Solange was predeceased by her beloved husband Stéphane (1981). She is survived by her children, Daniel (Karen), Marie Louise, Thérèse (John) Imhoff, Suzanne (Paul) LaFrenière and Paul (Carol). She also leaves to mourn nine grandchildren: Brian (Maureen), Brenda, Michelle (John), Louis, Elaine (Wes), Lise, Robert (Crystal), Steven (Jody) and Jason (Lindsay), also 14 great-grandchildren: Taryn, Wyatt, Jamie, Rayna, Isaac, Breanne, Stephanie, Madison, Morgan, Griffin, Cirena, Carter, Haley and Owen. Left to cherish her memory is brother Alex (Nellie) Dionne; and sisters, Sr. Simone Dionne, M.O. and Monique Brulhart; in-laws, Aline Dionne, Jean (Lucie) Maurice, Louis (Agathe) Maurice. Solange was predeceased by her brothers, Daniel, Félix and André (Esther) Dionne; sister Rose (Aimé) Russel; and brother-in-law Léo Brulhart. The family wishes to thank all the staff at 3 ABC at Centre Taché for the care given to our mother. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 9, at the St. Boniface Cathedral with Father Edouard Bonin presiding. Viewing will take place at 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Private interment will follow at a later date in Dunrea, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Centre Taché, 185 Despins Street, Winnipeg, MB R2H 2B3.
