Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryISABEL B. CORLETT (nee WINDUS) On Wednesday, September 6, 2006 Isabel B. Corlett, our beloved Mother, Gramma and Great-Gramma passed away. She leaves to cherish her memory, son Raymond; grand-children: Darren (Charlene), Dean (Michelle), Nikki (Ken); and all her great-grand kids: Kyle, Kaitlin, Justin, Kelsey, Sean, Brad, Amy. She also is survived by one brother Lionel; and sisters, Ruth and Naomi. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Helen Windus; and her beloved husband Bill; brother John; sisters, Constance and Elizabeth; brothers-in-law, Jack, John and Percy; sister-in-law Olive; and daughter-in-law Joyce; and also predeceased by Bill's family and in-laws. Mom was born in Mekiwin district, MB on April 11, 1919. She met Dad there and together they farmed until 1949. Having moved to Neepawa, Gladstone, Makinak and settling in Winnipeg in 1959, Mom worked part-time at various locations, as well as raising her family. When Dad died in March in 1983, she continued to live independently. She was very proud of her family, she loved to have tea and share her baking with all who came to visit. Funeral services to be held at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy #1 E at Navin Rd., on Friday, September 8, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Darren, Dean, Ken, Lance, Gren and John. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2 or charity of choice.
