Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRANDEL OSWALD SIMON 1953 - 2006 Randel Simon passed away August 19, 2006 at his residence in Brandon, MB. Randel was born in Flin Flon, MB on July 1, 1953 but his most formative years were spent in Snow Lake, MB. In his younger years he excelled in hockey and curling and was a natural athlete who could run like the wind. He once ran all the way to Wekusko Falls (10 miles) winning the trophy for the fastest time in the 1967 Centennial field day races. He was also an artistic and spiritual person. Randel was predeceased by his father Oswald in 1980 and his mother Laura in 1999. He is survived by two sisters, Beverley (Gene) and Debra (Ron) and one niece Sara as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins in his extended family. In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place and his ashes will be dispersed at Wekusko Falls near Snow Lake, where Randel and his family created many happy memories. Randel's marker will lie with his parents at the Brookside Cemetery at Snow Lake. Now you are at peace with Mom and Dad. Randy - we loved you and will miss you forever.
