OLGA HELENA MACRAE Mom was a very special lady who will be missed now and forever by many. Olga passed away on September 5, 2006. She was steadfast in her character until her final few breaths. Olga was born on October 12, 1912 and had a true pioneering spirit. She was predeceased by her immigrant parents, Andrew and Karen Skogan; her husband Rod; sisters, Alice and Doris; and brother Herb. Many people remain to celebrate her life. They include son Robert; grandsons, Colin and Matthew; as well as their mother Bev. Mom had many friends, relatives and admirers who graced her life and she appreciated all and gave to all her love. We would like to especially thank Dr. Lauden and the staff at Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital, the Home Care program and the Palliative Care program. We would thank also the special people at Farview for their love, care and generosity. Truly special and very much appreciated was her niece Karen Willis for her loving care. A memorial service will be conducted by Mackenzie Funeral Services at 1:00 p.m. on September 11, at the Mackenzie Funeral Chapel in Teulon on Highway 7. Reverend Patricia Baker officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, The Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital, the United Church of Teulon or charity of choice.
