HENRY JOHN GUTOWSKI 1935 - 2006 After a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer, Henry passed away at Riverview Health Centre on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 with his family by his side. Henry's ever-loving wife Georgina survives him; along with daughters Angie Irvine (Gerry), Karen Belanger (Mike), Kim Hooper (Joe); son Richard; six grandchildren, Chelsea, Taylor, Riley, Jordan, Tyler and Brock; sisters Mary Dion (Paul), Rose Laird, Florence Stoyko; brother Edward Gutowski (Evelyn); Georgie's sisters Cathy and Jeff Lukovich and Joey Logan and many precious nieces and nephews. Henry was very active in his younger days playing his guitar and singing. He worked as an order selector for many years and retired from Sobeys at the age of 65. Gardening was a favourite pastime and he took great pride in his yard. Funeral service for Henry will be held on Monday, September 11 at 1:00 p.m. in the Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch Ave. (corner of Mount Royal Road and Ness Avenue). For those who wish, parking will be available in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church parking lot located on Ness Avenue. The family would like to thank at this time Dr. Heather Frame, Dr. J. Lipschitz, Dr. P. Czaykowski, all the guardian angels at Cancercare Manitoba, Homecare, Palliative Care, Riverview Health Centre; friends and neighbours on the street and especially the two most important angels daughter Angie and our good neighbour Brenda. Flowers are gratefully declined.
