SHEILA IRENE FARMER (nee KIRBY) On Saturday, September 2, 2006 Sheila passed away after a short illness. Predeceased by son James, February 2002, Sheila leaves behind her dearly loved family, daughter Karyn Cato; son Jarad (Jody) Farmer; grandchildren, James, Shannon, Ursula, Sara, Donna, Jordan and Hayden; great-grandchildren, James, Fox, Seneca and Sequoia; dear brothers Ian (Kathryn) Kirby and Glen (Enid) Kirby; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sheila wished to thank her brother and sister-in-law Ian and Kathryn Kirby for their unselfish loving support and kindness during her illness. Thanks also to her dear friends Chuck Murray, Denise Ross, Sandy and Don Cusson, Bill and Shelby Neill, Maureen Hanson, Doug Stephen, Jo-Anne and Lily Boles for their help and support and to Patch and Sheba for their unconditional love and comfort. Sheila and her family would like to thank Dr. Nadine Lecuyer for her care and compassion during this time. And if I go, while you're still here. Know that I still live on. Vibrating to a different measure Behind a thin veil you cannot see through. You will not see me So you must have faith. I wait the time when we can Soar together again. Until then, live your life to the fullest. And when you need me, Just whisper my name in your heart. .I will be there. In keeping with Sheila's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 14 at 6:30 pm at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 1160 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg MB R3E 0V9.
