ANNE FRANCES PASIECZKA (nee PRYSIAZNUIK) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anne on September 7, 2006 at Concordia Hospital. Her memory will be cherished and remembered by her husband of 48 years, Daniel; children, Martin (Caroline) and Elaine (Peter) Capar; grandchildren, Anastasia, Nicholas, Adriana and Grace; brother Tony (Lena) Prasiaznuik; and sister-in-law Anne Price; nephews, nieces, and friends. Anne was predeceased by her parents, John and Katherine; and brothers, Bill and Joe. Anne was born December 6, 1922 in Transcona, MB. She was the youngest of four children, raised in Transcona, then Lorette West. She then attended high school in Transcona. Anne's working years were at the Scott-Bathgate Plant more sweetly known as Nutty Club. In 1958, Anne and Dan married, settling in Domain, MB where they resided and farmed grain, poultry and vegetables. Anne was a dedicated wife, mother and Baba who worked extremely hard to provide for her family. She enjoyed tending to her garden, flowers, baking and working alongside Dan on the farm. Her children and husband were always foremost. Prayer services will be tonight Sunday, September 10 at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1001 Grant Ave. Divine Liturgy will be held Monday, September 11 at 10:00 a.m. also at Holy Family Church with Fr. M. Gnutel and Fr. M. Winn officiating. Interment to follow at Thompson in the Park on McGillivray. Pallbearers will be Ted Bailey, Calla Brown, Peter Capar (Jr.), Valerie Fudge, Dennis Pasieczka, and Ken Praznuik. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Morris Home Care, Deer Lodge Centre, Holy Family Nursing Home (St. Francis Unit) and Dr. Terry Babick for their care and support.
