CODY ALLEN TURMAINE Tragically and with deep regret, we announce the sudden death of Cody on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at the age of 19 years. Cody will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Sharon and Joe Turmaine; sister Stephanie; grandparents, Dolores Nelson, Frank Fellers and Wilf Turmaine; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family throughout Canada and the United States. His quick and sincere smile melted the coldest of hearts and everyone he met became a friend. Cody has had a special lady in his life for most of the last three years and she helped bring out the best in him. We will all miss Cody and hold him in our hearts forever. Cody's most recent and significant accomplishment was graduating from high school at Fort Richmond Collegiate in June. It took tireless and sometimes thankless effort and support from the teaching staff, administration and the basketball coaches to graduate him. This was to be the door to his future. Thank you all at Fort Richmond Collegiate for giving Cody the opportunity. Funeral service for Cody will be held on Thursday, September 14, at 2:00 p.m. in the Epiphany Lutheran Church, 200 Dalhousie Dr., Winnipeg, MB with Pastor Ed Mitchler officiating. A special thank you to everyone who befriended Cody and tried to make his life better. Thanks to everyone who have helped, offered help and bouyed us with good wishes through this most trying of times. Our family requests that anyone who wishes to send a remembrance in Cody's memory, be encouraged to make a cash donation (in lieu of flowers) to the At Risk Youth Drop-in Centre / Safe House that Cody's sister Stephanie works and volunteers at, The Ndinawemaaganag Endaawaad, 370 Flora Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2W 2R5. Cody's arrangements have been entrusted to the Family Owned Funeral Chapel of: WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
