Her desire to return to the country life lead her and her husband Gerard to the Gunton area where they farmed for a number of years. One of the many things Pearl will be most remembered for was the pride and joy that she took in taking care of her cows (or as the rest of the family referred to them as her pets). Prayers will be held on Sunday, September 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 18 at 2:00 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. The service will conclude at the chapel with cremation to follow. The family would like to thank the staff at Hunter Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or a charity of one's choice. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon in care of arrangements.
