VIOLA INSLEY Viola passed away at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach on Friday, September 15, 2006 at the age of 84. She was born in Steinbach to Jacob F. and Justina Reimer, and lived in Fort William, Dartmouth and Ottawa, before moving back to Steinbach in 1980. She was married to Morris Insley in 1947 and they shared 38 years before his death in 1985. Vi was an active volunteer in Steinbach and enjoyed music, gardening, birding and travel. She was loved Auntie to many nieces and nephews and their children. She will be remembered and missed by her brothers, Rollin (Elma) Reimer of Steinbach and Howard (Brigitte) Reimer of Kelowna; brother-in-law Art (Wilma) Kroeker of Winnipeg, Chris Christenson of Chicago, and their children and grandchildren. She was predeceased by Morris; her sisters, Romelda Kroeker and Kathy Christenson; and her parents. A viewing will be held at the Steinbach United Church, Tuesday, September 19 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional and sharing at 7:30. The funeral will be Wednesday, September 20 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr., Steinbach with interment at the Heritage Cemetery. A light lunch will follow.
