NELLIE ANGELA SHAWARD (nee Zoladek) Peacefully on Friday, September 15, 2006 at the East Gate Lodge, Beausejour, Manitoba Nellie Shaward, aged 91 years, beloved wife of the late Stanley Shaward of Tyndall, Manitoba passed away. She is survived by her loving family Betty Skiba (Tom) of Camrose, AB, Violet Bialek (Bob) of Beausejour and Richard Shaward of Garson. Also surviving are her grandchildren Vernon Skiba (Lorie), Linda Skiba, Sidney Skiba (Chris), Patricia Rupert (Kevin), James Skiba (Lisa), Georginia Rolof (Brian), Joanne Mooney (Bill), Wayne Bialek, Linda Zavitz (Ken), Andy Bialek (Katie), Christine Shaward, Ricky Shaward and Darrell Shaward as well as 19 great-grandchildren. Nellie was predeceased by her husband Stanley in 1976, by her parents John and Josephine Zoladek, by her brothers and sisters Martin Zolondek, Henry Zolondek, Mary Mulla, Mike Zolondek, Annie Yaremko, Katie Kozak, Frank Zolondek and Jenny Wozney. Nellie led a very active life. She loved gardening and always seemed to keep herself busy right until she moved into East Gate Lodge in 2003. Prayers will be said on Monday, September 18, 2006 at 8:00 p.m. from Russell Funeral Home, Beausejour, Manitoba. Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, September 19 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Beausejour, Manitoba with Fr. David Brabant Presiding. Interment in the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Garson, Manitoba. If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
