BELLA LUCIE LETIENNE (nee LAFRENIERE) It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Bella Létienne, beloved widow of the late Claude Létienne, on Thursday, September 14, 2006 at Foyer Valade. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 39 years, Claude in April 1984. She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her five daughters, sons-in-law and families, Claudette and Stan Hall, their children, Daniel (Solita Desrosiers), Michelle (Claude Gauthier); Lorraine and Donald Ward, their children, Stephen and Colleen (Robert-Alain Chaput); Louise and Doug Cook, children, Chris Heke and Jeff Heke (Amanda Alexiuk); Thérèse and John Samborski, their children, Lisa, Lori (Ryan Kemp) and David; Denise (Gilles Mousseau), children, Samantha and Tanner Bryant and their father, Larry. She treasured her great-grandchildren, Sylvie and Danick Gauthier, Ethan Samborski and Evan Heke. She also leaves to mourn her sisters and brothers, Anna Joyal, Jean LaFrenière, Edouard LaFrenière, Albert LaFrenière, O.M.I., Agnès Hetherington and Maurice and Gisèle LaFrenière. She was also predeceased by the Létienne family. Bella's life was devoted to her family. She was an extraordinary cook and enjoyed hosting and attending large gatherings. Her pride and joy were her five daughters, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her sons-in-law and could never quite make up her mind who was her favourite. She will be remembered for her sense of humour, her wisdom, her strength and her courage. She fought a long battle and left us with grace and dignity. The family would like to thank the staff on the first floor at Foyer Valade for their exceptional and compassionate care over the last 16 months. Know that she considered every one of you her family and had a tremendous love for each of you. Funeral service will be held at Paroisse des Sts.
