OREST (MICKEY) PEREPELUK Peacefully, on September 14, 2006, with his wife Audrey and daughter Judy by his side, our beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away at West Park Manor, Winnipeg, MB. Born August 4, 1929, in Sifton, MB, to parents Effie and William Perepeluk. Mickey lived in Rorkton, Manitoba prior to settling in Flin Flon, where he lived and ran Central Meats and Grocery for 53 years before moving to Winnipeg. Mickey was predeceased by his parents William and Effie Perepeluk, brother John and sister Zonia. Mickey is survived by his wife Audrey (nee Simons), son and daughter-in-law Thomas and Linda Perepeluk of Athabasca, AB. Grandchildren, Shelley and Erica Husberg - great-grandchildren Logan and Paige; grandchildren Sandra and John Kelly - great-grandchildren Michael and Cassandra; grandchildren Sherrie and Glen Docherty - great-grand-children Shayla and Sianna. Daughter, son-in-law and grandson Judy, David and Lee Burrows, of Ottawa, ON; daughter, son-in-law and granddaughters, Gina Perepeluk, Andre, Carly and Megan Widmer of Barrie, ON. Mickey is also survived by his brother Walter of Winnipeg, and sister Gloria of Winnipeg and a number of nieces and nephews across North America. Mickey was well known in the mining community as he provided service to many of the exploration camps from all over the north. He was a past president of Rotary International Flin Flon District, a long standing member of Flin Flon Chamber of Commerce, and a lifer of Lake Athapap. Mickey will be sorrily missed by family and friends. A service will be held for Mickey on September 19 at 13:30 hours at the Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., entrance on Aubrey Street, Winnipeg, MB.
