LILLIE JEAN HUMES (nee POTTINGER) 1909 - 2006 After a short battle with cancer, at the Seven Regions Health Centre, Gladstone, with her family by her side, Lillie went home to be with her Lord on Monday, September 18, 2006 at the age of 97 years, widow of the late Walter Humes. Lillie will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Evelyn (Ted) Geard and Sylvia (Andrew) Hryciw, and her son Bob (Janet) Humes; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and brother Jim (Phyllis) Pottinger. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 22 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gladstone United Church. Interment will follow in the Gladstone Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to Seven Regions Palliative Care, in care of P.O. Box 374, Gladstone, MB R0J 0T0 or to a charity of one's choice.
