Went to Triffo's grocery as a young lad on many occasions to get milk for the family or treats for myself. Always missed the place and Mr. Triffo after it closed. RIP - Posted by: David Thomson (Neighborhood kid) on: Jan 15, 2015

I remember well, my trips to Triffo's and George. I was about 6 when I started going there. I lived in Garry Manor, down a block from the store. I spent all the pop bottles I could find and most of my chore money there on pop from the ice cooler and candy from the counter. :) I still have a few token gifts which came from the bubble gum machines that sat on the top of the rounded steps at the entrance to Triffo's. George was always nice to us kids! :) - Posted by: Anne (Neighbourhood child) on: Apr 13, 2014
