ISABEL GRACE THOMAS Peacefully on Sunday, September 17, 2006 with her family by her side, Isabel Grace Thomas aged 80 years passed away at the Betel Home, Selkirk, MB. Mom is survived by her sons, Edwin (Susan), Wayne (Denise), Reg, Roderick (Cecile), Nelson (Sheldene) and daughters, Phoebe (Charlie) and Helen (Wesley); also sister-in-law Sarah Webb. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Robert and Kim (Dylan and Jessie), Doug and Donna (Shane), Randal and Susan (Dylan, Tyler and Alyssia), Byron and Lori (Skylor and Shaylynn), Melanie and Chris, Kelly and Scott (Shantel) Ted, Desi and Debbie, Shane, Kim and Mike (Colin and Matthew), Pam (Jessica), Curtis and Stephanie (Amanda, Kara and Zena), Ernie (Zachary and Hunter), Kenny and Erica (Mck ayla), Ricky and Nadine, Keri and Toni (Katelyn), Leif and Debbie and Margaret (Travis), Hal and Audrey (Devin and Niki), Dawnelda and Bill (Shelly, Ian and Tabitha), Alan (Steven, Stephanie and Jason), Charlene and John (Crystal), Shelden (Tammy and Curtis). Lisa - deceased (Lynn and Sonya); special friend of the family, Brian Blake-Knox and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her husband Roderick, parents William and Louisa Webb, siblings Alfred, William, Calvin, Clarence, Edwin, Herbert, Harry, Sydney, Wallace, Beatrice, Edith, Florence, stepson Lloyd, grandson Michael, grandaughter Lisa and great-grandson Baby Ashten. Mom was born on March 27, 1926 at Grand Marais, MB. She married Roderick and had five boys and two girls. Mom lost her soulmate in 1962. She raised her family with the help of her older children. She moved to Selkirk, MB in 1969 and worked as the cook at the Tudor House Manor until her retirement in 1991. Isabel was the last sibling of the Webb Family. She always had an open door to her children's friends, anytime day or night. She enjoyed cooking, reading, puzzles and collecting stamps and coins but above all, her children and grandchildren. She lived a life of hard work and decication to her family. Mom will be sadly missed. Viewing and prayers will be held Wednesday evening, September 20 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, MB. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 21 at St. Judes Anglican Church, Grand Marais, MB at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Judy Whitmore officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be all her grandsons. The family would like to thank Dr. Demsas and all the staff at the Betel Home and Wes Gilbart and staff at Gilbart Funeral Chapel.
