HARRY D. JANZEN Peacefully with his family at his side, on Monday, September 18, 2006 Harry Janzen, beloved husband of Susan of Elie, passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 56 years. Besides his wife, he is survived by daughter Lisa (Blake Legault), granddaughter Annika; daughter Sheila (Steven Smart) and son Matthew. He is also survived by one brother Ed (Anne); and one sister Rita Campbell; and many other relatives and friends. Harry was predeceased by his parents, John and Agatha; sister Marilyn; and brother Ernest in infancy. Harry was employed for 32 years at the Canadian Wheat Board and throughout his life had a love for farming. He retired from the Wheat Board in 2000 and during the few retirement years he enjoyed the time with his family and friends. He was always active in the community, serving on the school board for four years and active in baseball, hockey and curling. Funeral service will be on Friday, September 22, at 2:00 p.m. at the Schoenfeld Mennonite Church at Pigeon Lake with interment in the church cemetery. Viewing at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation, Box 1943, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R2.
